I have a chance to purchase a set of three Weber 42DCNF still mounted on a maserati manifold. (looks damn cool)
Any opinions on these for a big-valve 2056cc T4 with a cam? Are manifolds and linkage available? I suspect that they may be marginal at higher RPM, but I don't really know my carbs. Dave |

Are those the three bolt carbs? If they are you need to call CB Performance and ask them....the set up should be using only two not all three...8^)

Thanks Mike - I take it you mean two of the three bolts, not carbs....
CB couldn't tell me much about the carbs, and didn't offer linkages or manifolds. Does anyone know how well these flow? Do they fall betweenIDF 40s and 44's as the name infers? The throats are adjacent to one another like on the IDF, but are D-shaped with the flats of the D side by sided - I presume this is to make them more compact. That must compromise the flow, but has it been compensated for? I need to make a decision as to whether I snap these up (they may be inexpensive) or hold out for IDF44s. A local guy has IDA48s as well. |

Three bolt manifolds....I used a DCN or a DCNF on my bugs....don't remember which. But the manifolds were three bolters....
