Changing Fuel Sock
I have ordered the POR kit to clean and seal the fuel tank as well as install a Weber kit. The tank is out but I am confused as to how to get trhe fuel sock out and the new one in. I took off the nuts and outlet pipes and it looks like I should just punch the fitting into the tank and rattle it out. How do you get the new one in since my hand won't go in to hole under the expansion tank? I am sure lots of guys are laughing but I am confused. Thanks for any help you have for a new member.

Duh. I went back and looked at it again and removed the sock. My parts are in route or I would have know how to get it out. It was REALLY crudded up. No wonder the other filters were plugged and the Dellortos trashed. It should be better with an entire new fuel system. I am sure I will be back. Luckly Pelican had an easy tank removal tech piece that worked like a charm.
