Dies @ low idle

So I have a '74 w/ a 1.8. It has the L-jetronic FI system. Lately, the the engine seems to run for a bit, then just shut down. It's almost like it had a choke, then the choke would open, and the car just shuts off. I can keep it running by opening up the idle screw, but then I am just running around with a high idle!

I replaced the fuel filter just in case, but no change.. Any suggestions?
