Its working ..., its working !!!

Well after six months, my Ravenna rolled out of the garage Saturday under its own power! A top-end rebuild to the 2.0 liter, new carpet & roof liner, stereo & speakers, polished/painted wheels, and lots of cleaning were involved.

It was a thrilling moment as the engine cranked intially to build up oil pressure. The real moment of truth came after installing plugs & connecting coil - vvrrroooom! Too cool! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...s/boldblue.gif

Now to get it tuned and the CO2 checked, registered with ADOT (Arizona DOT), and the rear valance and bumper on. Coming and going just got better!

Thanks for all the help!

Great work Gerard, congrats! I always like to see more Ravenna 914's.

Your wheels look nice. Reminds me that someday I should clean mine up a bit.

Totally off subject here, but how did you guys include the link to your pelican profile page without providing the entire url (as in mine below)?

They used raw HTML--specifically, an HREF tag. You can either surf around looking for a web page that is about web page design, or go into Netscape's web page builder part (or Explorer's equivalent) and create a tag with a link. Then you can copy and paste it into your "signature".

Try this one:

My Porsche 914 - Pelican Parts Profile

I customized the above with your URL. I'm not sure, but you might be able to copy it and paste it into your profile on this BB.

I'll also e-mail the info to you directly.

I hope that helps.

Good luck.
