Post Bee Jay's 914 2.0 at the Autofest

I don't have a web page, but.....I brought my car to the Autofest in Ventura this weekend. It was a comming out for the car after over two years of engine rebuild, bare metal paint and body work, interior restoration, and suspension mods. Steve Malmzx and Mike Z now know that the car does exist. The rear spoiler and sound sytstem are the Japanese parts that Steve insisted on. Wayne took a group of pictures of it and they are on page 3 of his pictoral of the event.

Here is a picture of it at the San Lois Obisbo Concours before the five lug conversion.

Thanks to Wayne, Tom, Don, and Gill for all of their help. And a special thanks to Sylvia for letting her newly wed husband spend so much time in the garage.
Six conversion next.

Wow, the car looks great!
What did you use for the rear 5-bolt conversion? I'm looking into tackling this myself and want to know what others have done on the rear. Also where did you get that collapsable spare.

Thanks Nathan. I used an early hub redrilled for five studs. Look for a tech article real soon on this web site on my five lug conversion. I got the spare at Don and Glenn's last swap meet. They came in 911s.

Thanks James.
All four corners are 15x7 fuchs replicas with 205/55-15 Kuhmo Victors. I had the fender stretched a little while it was at the body shop. Stock looking and leave the lip were my only instructions. I plan to put 17x7.5 turbo twists all around with 215/45-17 Kuhmos, if they will fit. I'm waiting on my lottery winnings. I guess I have to buy the winning ticket first.
The fuel gauge is VDO. You can adjust it. I have it read E at the same time my low fuel light comes on. That is the red low fuel light right under the tach.
