pics of my Engman kit installed

Last weekend I completed the install of the Engman chassis stiffening kit. All went as planned with no major hassles. This morning I ground down the welds and snapped some pics before applying my first coat of primer. The pieces were welded with my Hobart 140 useing flux cored .030 wire as I was welding outside and it was windy. I think this is the last of the welding I'm doing on the chassis
Enjoy the pics

Great work dude. In the process of doing same myself. Still not convinced that the corner 'boxing' welds themselves do diddly, so plan on reinforcing with some angle steel.

I did the same thing last summer. But I couldn't find any kits so I built my own "iron" .

Good kit.

I did mine a few years back. Instantly noticed the difference.

Great welding job!

Great looking job. I also agree from the unscientific area, the the corners need a little more steel.

I have exactly the same welder and the engman kit just came in the mail. To help with 'our' learning curve in welding, can you give us the welder settings you used to install the kit? Any other tried and trued settings for the firewall and hellhole repair?
Thanks Bill

Voltage setting was 2 and wire speed was 30.
