Remembering
Hard to believe that it has been two years since Phil past, a loss not only to me and his family, but to the entire 914 community
![]() Phil was more than just a good friend, he was a mentor and like a father to me. I'm getting ready to head to Hooters for lunch, as that is what we & several other car guys did every Fri, I don't go there much anymore, it seems empty, and not just the waitresses heads ![]() Phil, we miss you!! So if you get a chance, have lunch at Hooters today and around 9:30 this evening, raise a good Scotch & toast our fallen brother ![]() What makes today even harder on me, is about the same time as Phil passed, I met the lady that I really thought was the one, as time went by, I was so sure that I even got her a ring, was fully ready to settle down, then she turned out to be bipolar ![]() ![]() Well off to Hooters for lunch & a Big Daddy of Fosters!!! ![]()

It's hard losing a friend (Been there)
I've been looking at your post for a long time and I knew you were hurting, but I didn't know exactly what to say. Hang in there and know that you're not alone. Losing a fiend is hard. You'll think about him every day. Get your heart and soul right. We're all leaving our 914's to our heirs someday. God bless... Rick
