Difference in inserts for Boge struts?
 

I would like to confirm whether or not is is possible to remove Bilstein inserts from a 911 Boge strut and place them into 914 Boge struts? I believe the housing design is the same between 911 & 914...but not 100% sure?

I know the Bilstien strut housings are very different; not sure about the Boge ones.

I do know that they're set up for different weights of car, and won't have quite the "right" valving, though...
