Dave Shepard (GPR) has passed away...
 

I'm sad to announce that Dave Shepard (owner of GPR) passed away as a result of a head injury that he suffered about five weeks ago. I just spoke with his family, and he passed away yesterday afternoon / evening. We here at Pelican are all saddened by this tragic news, as Dave was a Pelican friend for a long, long time. For those that knew him, I'll have flower arrangements, and other information in the near future...

He did pass and this is very sad. A good man and father was lost yesturday, not to mention a real Porsche guy. The known and unknown contributions he has made to the Porsche Community will surly be missed by all. You have all been touched by him, wether you are a CW or a poor 914 guy, a racer or a 911 luver, an outlaw or just a 997 guy, you just may not know it.

I am at a loss for words. Dave and his boys are close friends of my family. We've spent countless times with them, and are deeply saddened by this.

I love you Dave, for over 20 years we have been car nuts, friends, drinking buddies, and shoulders to cry on when things were bad.

Rest In Peace My Dear Friend.
