I've noticed a cut in one of my OEM 3pt belts in my '76 914. Can I simply send it out for rewebbing? Do I need to find an NOS belt? Whats the better way to fix? Any places recommended? thanks! SmileWavy

The only place that I know of that does anything like that is http://www.peparts.com/StoreFront.bok . They probably won't be completely "correct" (per concours specs) but they should work well. You may be also able to find NOS ones in various places.

Supposedly you can use 944 belts or early Rabbit belts with a little modification to the locating pin.
