Noob ? about air filter box
 

every time i go for a drive ,as u can see in the pic i find the air filter box has come off,i looked for pics in my haynes manual and i think i found the problem i noticed in the haynes manual that i am missing 2 clamps, 1 on each side of my box ,can these clamps be purchased alone and what do they connect to am i missing some other pieces that these clamp's connect to in my engine compartment.Thxhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1219376042.jpg

You should have a bar attached to your intake runners on the drivers side. It acts as a base for your filter box with clips to hold it down. You can probably scrounge one up with a WTB ad here or 914 World.

Thx blitzer i finnaley found a pic on the net of an engine with the box off, and i can see exactly what u described ,and just my luck it is missing from my car along with those clips.thx again i will take your advice wtb and also have a look on ebay
