Post stripped plug hole.

please help me with my terrible luck. I was changing plugs on my 72 1.7 and when I was putting the new #2 plug in it the hole stripped. Is there any easy way to get the hole. What should I do anyway, maybe without taking the head off?

Stripped or cross threaded. I think either way you need to remove the head. to put a thead chaser into the hole in order to straighten out the threads you could get lucky using really thick grease. BUT I wouldn't do it! If you pulled the threadeds right out of it no choice but to pull head. You could patch it with a heli-coil (not 100%) or get it welded and redrilled for new plug.
