How to search for "914-6" in the forums?

All right, I give up... How do ya do it? I've tried w/ quotes, w/o quotes, single quotes, double quotes, ... can't figure it out.

Much appreciated if someone can point me in the right direction. I need to search for a replacement oil line that is "no longer available" from our host.

I need the one that goes from the steel line to to the bottom of the tank; I think it's the pressure line. Broke an ear off of the transmission at the last PCA event at Bremerton and when the motor twisted it torn the line.

My car has the aluminum ends. So you're saying they can be rebuilt by replacing the rubber line? Hmmmm. Any ideas on sources for the line in the Seattle area?

depends where you are ,this place is in south seattle(georgetown)
or Esy button- you can get the 911 hose and cut it and install one of your ends and have spare.

Back to your first question, go to Google and enter: site:forums.pelicanparts.com "914-6"

Excellent! Once again the collective knowledge and willingness of people on this site to help has floored me. I'll be contacting Pacific Rubber as soon as I take apart my current line to get the dimensions off of it and I'll be using google to search Pelican from now on. Strange that Wayne's search engine doesn't work for the "914-6" string. On 914World and 914Club which use similar forum arrangements the search engines deal with this string fine.

It's caused by the "-" not being treated as a word character by the database software. It's configurable, of course...

Correct outside Rear View Mirror

My outside mirror is black plastic was wondering if '72 European 914-6 had this mirror instead of the chromed mirror seen on most US 914's. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1222143446.jpg
