Post gas tank lines

I changed the short lines beneath the gas tank. I made them to long and they kink when I set the tank in. Is there an easy way to make them shorter? It was hard to tighten the clamps the first time.

I assume you took the tank out to replace the lines. You might able to use the hoses as is, just route them a little differently as you place the tank into possition.
