914 tachometer conversion to v8
Working on a 71 Porsche 914, originally had a 4cyl engine in it and presently has a Chevy 283 engine. Where can one get the conversion kit to upgrade the original 914 tachometer to make it compatible with the Chevy 283 engine or what is recommended on an aftermarket tach company to replace the original tach. Thank you.

I've used Palo Alto Speedometer (Palo Alto, California) for a couple of tach repairs and conversions for Porsche's and Porsche powered cars. They do pretty much any type of conversion on a tach that you might need. Reface, recalibrate, etc.
Good workmanship and they stand behind their products. angela http://www.paspeedo.com/ |
