Speedo Cable @ Trans. Question
Hello, My ' 74 has a non functioning speedo which I hope to rectify with your help. The part that screws to the back of the tranny and accepts the cable is missing parts. I found a replacement in my vast stash of spares and my question is this. Should this part be greased or does it get lubrication from the trans oil? Again, this is the part that screws into the trans and the cable screws into it. Thanks, Pete

Get's it's lube from the transmission oil
