I have a 71 with msd ignition. The car starts and runs just fine until it is up to temperature at which point it won't come off of idle? Guesses to condition? thanks

Check all your hoses, especially the one to the distributor. It sounds like
you have a vacuum leak. The oil cap on these cars is notorious for this as well.

Need a bit more information: carbs or FI, if carbs what type of distributor, does the MSD box pass it's test with a MSD test unit, what is the timing in total degrees and at what RPM, what do the plugs look like after running?
