993 engine in 914-6
I have installed a 993 engine in my 914-6. We are not sure if the engine wire harness plug compares with the original 914-6 engine wire harness plug.
Is anybody out there who has done a similar conversion. Please call me. 407-259-1259. |

I live in Orlando. Where are you? I am converting my 75 914-4 2.0 to a 2.2 Six. Jim Patrick of Patrick Motorsports just completed an engine wiring harness for my car. They can assist you with a harness. Patrick Motorsports - Custom Porsche racing parts and services. In fact I think this is the engine wiring harness you might need...click on this link. I used the Patrick adapter harness which gets rid of the stock relay board.
One thing to be careful about, you need to double check the wires in the adapter harness plug before plugging it in, on mine three of the wires were in the wrong spot! ![]() Once i got that fixed, it worked great! PS: I mounted the brain all the way in front under the dashboard. Away from the engine heat. Check out my conversion thread in my signature ... ![]()
