Looking for a mechanic in southern orange county for my 71 914, any suggestions?

I think the title says it all, but Im up for any help from a mechanic that really knows this model, who I can start a serious 914 relationship with, he'll be doing engine rebuilds and other emergency work when I cant, any suggestions are ver helpful, Thanks in advance.

Hi....I don't know of anyone in S. OC, but in N. OC, I've used Das Fixum Haus in Brea on several occasions for my 914 and 911SC. They've solved some pretty tricky problems with my 914. Repair on the 911 have been very good as well. Labor is about 48.00 p/hr. Although rates on parts are the same, sometimes a bit more than elsewhere, just depend on whats being replaced. The work is excellent, Bob Nesbitt is the proprietor and I really trust him (and with my experiences with mechanics this is saying a lot).

You can even drop your car off before hours and fill out a drop slip telling them what you want done, a neat little service for those of us who work.
