Add incredible stopping power to your 914 with the Brembo/Boxster four piston caliper kit. Available for front and rear 914 applications. The kits include new alloy calipers, alloy adapters with hardware, brake pads, Zimmerman 24MM (Carrera) crossdrilled rotors. Designed for five lug 914s with S, SC or Carrera front struts (3.5" mounting). The rear kits are direct bolt ons to the 914s rear trailing arm. Pictures available. $900.00 for front or rear kits.

I know nothing more than the ad yet but it sounds very interesting
I thought I would pass this on as I am sure there are many interested.
Does this guy frequent this BBS? If so tell us more

I have done business with Rich Johnson. Very good guy to deal with. He makes the bulkhead mount that is the one to go with when converting to a 6 cylinder motor IMHO. I have not tried his brake setup, but it is now on my list of things to consider.

Rich Johnson fabricates a lot of 914 (-4&-6) specific hardware.. and is upfront and honest to deal with..

he not only makes that boxster setup, but also makes the 2-1 brake line adapter i used in order to fit the Volvo 4 piston calipers to my 914..

granted you're not getting monobloc brakes, nor are they Brembo.. but they *are* 4 piston, and have bigger surface than any of the *normal* Porsche brakes (the non-brembo line).. and.. here's the biggy.. they cost 20 dollars at the local junkyard..

i don't want to search for my posted links re: my brake setup anymore, i think it's earlier on this thread.. the interested party can look it up themselves..

Jeff
