1972 1.7 ltr value question ---Rust Free mostly
anyone care to suggest a value for a 1.7 ltr '72 mostly rust free 914. It looks to have had one repaint in the past and it was an OK job -not great but not too bad either.
shows 25K miles bet it is 125k though. no rust in battery area, floors etc. really looks like a clean older car. thanks |
"mostly rust free" eh? ;) - thats the plight of all 914's. Trunks, Longitudinals, floors, rear firewall, suspension points. If those are rust free, then its a great start.
A pic or 2 helps more.. could be $500-7500 imho, depending on true condition, options, color combo, if its original, gaudy tackons (mirrors, stripes, aftermarket wheels etc). Any history on the motor or clutch? Is it driveable/registered? Same color repaint? Porsche made a LOT of changes to the 914 for the '73 model year, some of which showed up on late '72s which make the cars a lot nicer to some than the 70-71 early 72 models. |
Hey, look at my post (my new toy) I pay 2k for it!!!!
