914 Sheetmetal
Any idea on when PP is going to renew its relationship with their sheetmetal supplier? I believe they are under new ownership now and actually answering the phone, but I'd still rather deal with a middleman I'm familiar with.

I was sent this link after asking the same question to our sponsor. I would rather buy from Wayne as he has been there for us every time.
![]() Restoration Design Porsche Parts I have talked with them and they do answer e-mails , Which is an improvement !

Have you ordered from them since they came under new ownership? The one time I placed an order with them I had to cancel the cc payment three weeks later because no part came and no one would answer the phone. However, around the same time my in-laws ordered some parts and said they were the nicest people they'd ever dealt with and received the part right on time.

New owners and management at resoration design.... ordered some sheet metal over last Christmas... parts arrived quickly, and in good shape. New people were very polite and checked afterward to see if I was happy with parts... great service. note : they are in Canada now, so shipping may be a bit higher.

I order some parts from Restoration Design as well. The parts were fine but the service was a little slow.

The service or the delivery? Were they on time and slow or behind schedule?

So far the service and quality have been very promising. We just finished patching yet another rusted floorpan using the RD replacement. And another one is on the list for next weekend.
We need a steady supply of replacement panels ... Andy

I have used them in the past month. Parts came quickly, and they were just fine. I like the new Canadian owner.

In the end, I decided that the $140 for the pans were going to blow the beater's budget; opted instead to build a set with some mild steel and use the cash for the turbo.
