Turbo tie rods
Bought a set of Turbo tie rods the other day.
As with the article in the latest Excellence, mine came complete with no instructions(what the hell you only read em when you get in trouble..).Well , no real problems arose except the spacers. After the requsite fondling of parts and head scraching I left them out. The threads didn't bottom out in the rack and all seems well.I'm looking for input here. Anybody got a howcome? |

Did the same thing you did!!
Spacers have not been installed on mine for over a year now with no problems. |

I left the spacers off when my turbo tie rods were installed on my '73 914 2.0L over two years ago and have had no problems. I was a little concerned, but I'm glad to hear that others have done the same with no problems.
