Thumbs up L-Jet 2.0 is alive and running (finally)

After a few setbacks, I finally fired up the '75 2.0 tonight, the biggest stumbling blocks were the very slow cranking engine which was traced to the frozen 140amp GM alternator I installed.
The alt spun fine when it was first assembled on the engine on my workbench. I didn't bother looking at why it was frozen now on the motor, I just removed the belt and will deal with the alt later on.

The other problem I had was that my Air flow meter was not working properly. After many hours of trouble shooting the wiring harness and sensors and relays, I finaly tested the AFM.

Haven't had the chance to drive it yet, too late and the car is a tad bit too loud still...don't need to piss off the neighbors yet....

Was your engine a 1.8L L-Jet before it was transformed into a 2.0L ?

The engine was originaly a '75 smog 2.0 motor. (now it has higher compresssion with Euro P/C's), ceramic coated this and that.......still has stock exhaust, not sure what system to install...

next will be the larger throttle body and AFM and some dyno time........

Seems we just can't let Dr. Porsche do all the thinking for us...

I converted a 1.8L that was converted to Carbs by a PO to a 1.7L/2.0L D-jet. And aslo my 2.0L stock L-jet 912e into a D-Jet, again due to a PO using carbs. I'll get the L-Jet back on it eventually.
