That Buick V8 on ebay - more shill bidding - DUH!!!!

I thought I may still be interested in the silver Buick V8 914 on ebay....then i started looking at the bidders... "buyherecheap" (CURRENT HIGH BIDDER) is bidding like mad but has zero feedback..... as it turns out, this same bidder also bid on a YUKON for sale by.....the same seller.... ahahaha... idiots!!!! They even knew i was watching more closely after the first shill bidder "rambo_0199" or something like that....he was bidding and trying to sell the same car on the yahoo boards.

cut and paste link....hyperlink not working....

As an ebayaholic, i don't like to get burned, so hopefully anyone interest should steer clear. I told the seller, to do the right thing he should end this auction before ebay is notified.

Post the link. I'll notify e-bay myself. That's not right. I feel bad for the owner of the car with medical problems. (if that's even the truth) How would you like to be that sick guy and need to sell the your car to help your family eat or something. You put your trust in the scam artist listing the car on e-bay for you. instead of selling a car for you, he ends up dragging your poor sick ass into a huge law suite. You end up lossing the sale of the car, and have to default on your mortgage and give the little cash you would have left in your sock drawer to your lawyer. The day of your funeral your family ends up at a shelter for the homeless. I don't think any of us mind paying a fair price. But that's just wrong.

Rich - here is the link...there are way more people involved than just "sologti" and "buyherecheap" there is a guy named "furhalter" who is involved, and as i dug deeper, on other guy "robdluxx". They all bid on each others auctions....like..most of the auctions the other one has....!! they all need to get the boot... check out the bidding history on them, and look at the sellers name on each.... one big circle jerk!!!!

Looks like they got the boot. eBay pulled the auction. Serves them right.

Cheers

Cheers to you guys that track down and notify e-bay of such tactics. I've ran into it on smaller items too. You wonder how ebay can stay in business once the public gets educated on how the auctions really work. Thanks for the good work all.

Well people, I'm about through with eBay. They make record profits and raise their insertion and sales fees (feel like I've been inserted).

Deadbeat bidders, non-paying bidders, sellers who have no idea of what the heck they are listing, etc....., Good things seem to always get runined by idiots who have no life.

If you get them kicked off, they just come back with another alias.
