My new dash i just made
for the past couple weeks i have been making a new dash to cover the cracked up wood veneer, that was installed by the previous owner. this week end i finally got it to my liking, i just have to attach it here's a photo with the loose install.
What do you guys think? its just 1/8" sheet aluminum that i excessively sanded with a scotch-brite pad then clear coated it. Austin http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1275329932.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1275329982.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1275330071.jpg |
Aluminum looks really nice on the car.
One of the best looking dash I have ever seen on the 914. Great job! |
Wow. Looks better than stock. I might try it.

dash
That really looks great and brightens up the whole inside of the car. Did you have any problems with the glove box opening ?

i'm still playing with the glove box to try and get it to look right and sit straight, but it should only take a little tweeking than i'm going to glue it over the existing wood that was on it.
thanks for the compliments guys |
