Flywheel Pilot Bearing
I have a 914/6 flywheel that I am about to install. I ordered a pilot bearing from our host just to be thorough during this clutch change. I drove out the bearing from the Cranshaft side. This picture shows what came out...the metal washer, a felt washer and finally the pilot bearing.
 Here is a pic of the replacement pilot bearing I ordered. I dont see how its possible to install this new bearing as the OD is larger than the ID of the sleeve inside the flywheel. What am I missing? What have I done wrong or do I have the wrong bearing?

Figured this one out with some help from my friends...Ended up that I had only removed the inner bearing. I needed to press out the entire sleeve and bearing. Live and learn...No harm done.
