Jack holes
I have a question for the non-purest's out there.
The jack holes on my '74 are rusted and long gone (the Longitudinals are 100% fine). Since I jack my car up in other locations, is it okay to weld a plate over the stock jack holes? Any thoughts on this guys? Thanks Kerry

They make replacement jack points...but the round knobs under the pan on all four corners are the best place to jack with a floor jack....

I no longer have my old jack holes, welded right over them. I used the round areas, but now I've replaced then with a pyramid shape thingy that holds the car up well. The round things rusted away.
