More Steering Shaft
On the upper shaft bearing:
How tight should the inner race be in relation to the shaft? The bearing that was in there has a great deal of clearance - maybe 3/16". I am concerned that a previous owner might have installed the wrong bearing. I have the spring, spacer, and split washer on the way from Pelican. I'm probably just pinging... Thanks for any comments. |

The sleeve repair completely solved the bearing play. Of course it did. Thanks for not ripping me with sarcasm. |
