Easy Rear Glass Question

I am installing my rear glass and need to know if it makes a difference which way it goes in. It doesn't appear to have any bend in it, but I would at least like to know which side of the car the VW logo was on when it left the factory. Passenger or driver side. Thanks

Read a technical "rear window intstall" article where the VW logo was readable from the inside and just above and behind the drivers headrest.

I did follow that tip when installling my own glass...

Cool, I took a 50/50 guess and got it right. Thanks, Pete

I believe the rear window on a 914 came from the factory with the (VW Logo and the other wording and numbers) readable from the outside of the car and on the top right corner of the glass on the passenger side when installed.

Rear Glass install

I installed my back glass where the logo was readable from the outside. I checked several other models of Porsche cars and all glass is installed this way. I may be wrong but that is ok with me and I like it this way .
