I would like to know what the fuel flow rate is for the aftermarket fuel pump..mine delivers 3oz in 2 minutes!!that can't be right..What is a good rate of flow? thanks.need help from all the experts here

Your pump is toast. Think about it this way - let's say you get on the freeway and drive at 75 mph. A well-tuned 914 might get something near 30 mpg at this speed. That works out to 2.5 gal/hr. There are 128 oz per gallon, and 5 minutes is 1/12 of an hour. Therefore, your pump would need to put out 128*2.5/12 = about 27 oz of fuel in 5 minutes at this rate. 3 oz isn't going to cut it.

Does anyone use a in-line fuel pressure guage to monitor the pump? If so where is a good source for one? Thanks,
