914/6 Project

I have such a project underway. If interested, contact me for details using my direct email address: rpbandera@q.com
Overview is a rust free body in primer with 2 stiffening kits welded, front mounted oil cooler & AC condensor, Patrick Motorsports 6-cyl engine mount welded in and OEM oil tank mounted. Rebuilt 2.2L motor to E-specs; rebuilt side shift tranny with altered 5th gear; 5 bolt suspension parts painted & ready for assembly; excellent interior. Some parts remain to be purchased, but I have nearly everything needed, and more than one of lots. Besides what's on the shelf, I have a parts car as well - bent up trunks but the rest intact. Am currently rebuilding the wire harness, the first step to re-assembly. Why sell? I got old and enjoy my 2003 Boxster S too much. Thought if I sell this I can go back to my roots & get another MG - then I can be in 2 clubs at once while enjoying my retirement. Pics under the heading of "72-Project-6" on the 914 Yahoo egroup site - or I can email directly.

6 cylinder mounted welded in
car is painted in black and paint shop is acceptable 6-7

That looks like an interesting project, I really would like something on the west coast if it isn’t running. Much easier to ship.

Bob in AZ, I was just in Scottsdale last week for the Barrett-Jackson. No luck finding anything there...

Still looking for a project or a running car. I would like a conversion rather than an original 6.
