Door Problem

I got a door that could only be opened from the inside. I got the little plastic fork to fix it but have been working on more vital organs. Yesterday the door completely jammed and I cannot open it at all. Any suggestions on how to at least get it open so I can fix it properly?

Thanks

I locked my keys inside the car the other day and very easily opened the door with a slim jim. Insert into the door panel above the outside door handle...only needs a depth of about 3/4 inches. Mined opened right up. I realize you may not have a slim jim handy so try using a metal spatula that is at least 4/5 inches long.
The width of the blade may hinder this from working but it's worth a try before you go to other alternatives. I am pretty sure that all you need to do is push down on the lock linkaqe from above so it may work.
