Fresh Air/Heater Control Light Question
1972 914-4. The 3-knob controls on the dash have no lights. I found 1 bulb holder on the right side (behind the blue square/up arrow) without a bulb and an empty socket on the left side (behind the down arrow). I fished around behind the dash and can't find a bulb holder for the left side. Can someone tell me if there is supposed to be a bulb holder for the left side and also the part number of the bulb? It's a different bulb than the instrument lights.
Thanks, Mike

There are three bulbs. Two ( IIRR) come on with the running lights, the third comes on when the fan is set to one of it's three positions.
Access to the lights is really tight. The left side is definately the hardest. You need plenty of light and patience. The bulbs are readily available; I buy them at a local VW shop. I believe they are 2 watts.
