Tranny speedo o-ring replacement

Any gotcha’s on replacing the o-ring at the speedometer angle drive? Will Swepco leak all over if I try the swap with the tranny in the car?

If you jack the rear of your car up high enough there will be no need to drain the transmission of fluid.
After I fixed the o-ring on my car I found fluid started leaking from around the cv joint flange seals. I just replaced the flange seals and main seal (while doing my engine rebuild) and hope that fixes the last of the trans leaks. The drivetrain goes back in tomorrow...wish me luck.

I replaced the angle drive on my (former) car recently, and it was a piece of cake. I think I did jack up the right side of the car, and there was little or no leakage. Very quick and simple job, overall.

Yep, jack the rear, no leakage.

Now I have figure out why it's leaking at the Intermediate Plate. I just had the tranny out not too long ago. Grrrr
