Targa side window seal

Hi All,
Just bought replacement rubber for the targa seal for the rear edge of the side window. The base on the rubber seal looks 2mm wider than what I just slid out. Doesn't want to fit in the space at all,or get over the round head screws in the channel. The mould is different too but it is supposed to be an original part.
Anyone with an idea how it is supposed to slide in? And do you go from the top or bottom?

Use silicone lube or a water/soap solution. Then push. Good luck. It's not a fun job.

IIRC, you go from the side. There are two bits that stick out into the edges of the channel. You put the seal in sideways so that one lip goes into the side of the channel, then you use a flat-head screwdriver or putty knife or something else flat and skinny to push the second lip into the channel.

Glycerine or soap can help slide things around. Do not use silicone, it is not so good for the rubber in the long term.
