Oil drain plug crush ring
Is the crush ring for the 914 the same part number as listed for the 911? I'm having trouble finding any definitive listing for this part. I know the original is NLA but the one listed here in PP catalog as a replacement for the early 911 is #900-123-118-30-M131
Is this the correct oil drain plug crush ring for the 914 as well? Thanks! |

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall that they don't interchange. What I've been using for my 914 is a BMW E30 crush ring, PP # 07-11-9-963-151-M131.

Hey Rrrockhound - thanks! My brother has '90 BMW 325is; very nice car!! I bet he would be able to get me some of those parts....
BTW, had a cousin who lived in Delaware, OH for a number of years; always liked visiting there. |

The original Porsche crush ring is 12x18; I can get copper 12x18 crush rings from
Airhead Parts for $.85 each....that should work fine! |
