Smashed up my 914 today :(

Hit an Altima leaving a red light. She slammed on the brakes in front of me. Looks like I got some work to do....http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1306981721.jpg

how fast were you going?
You broke the mounting ears off the transmission?
Pull that motor and check the front motor mount.
hope you are ok good luck with the repairs

progun 06-01-2011 07:56 PM

Very slow. They were previously broken apparently. I am fine and I think I have all the parts i need to fix her up. Thanks

quicksix 06-01-2011 08:50 PM

previously broken?
Time for a complete inspection of ALL sub assemblies.
Yeah the black and gold is cool, reminds me of my old Capri II.

This time around put some Porterfield pads on the car. There is no reason the 914 can not out stop ANYTHING on the road today.

Haha, it wasn't a pad issue. It was the loose nut behind the steering wheel. I just didn't hit the pedal.
