914 taillight fit check

I have a question I hope somebody can answer for me. Will 72' euro taillight lenses and reflectors fit in a 74' as a direct replacement for the american red ones?

I believe the entire assembly is interchangeable from 70-76. It should just be a direct swap.

I can confirm that they are a direct swap. Did this on both of my cars. Takes all of 5 minutes to do both front and back.

Are you swapping the light buckets to Euros also?

The US buckets have side marker bulbs which will make the Euro-lenses' turn signals glow orange all the time. It's not a bad look, just a bit odd.

Next time I open mine up, I'm going to remove the little marker bulbs.
