You may not want an SUV but....
As much as we want to b!tch about Porsche following the rest of the planet into the SUV quagmire, I'm willing to bet more than one of you would gladly drive this thing to the mall.
450 horses?? Cripes! I bet it would make a nifty tow vehicle! http://www.pca.org/panorama/pano_special_302.html |
This is truely a sad day for Porsche owners everywhere.
The 911 BBS has more pictures and comments posted. They didn't race for this? |
Well, that and the Carrera GT... ;) I think the GT just about makes up for the Cayenne. Which doesn't mean I'm happy about the lack of racing participation.
I read somewhere that it has in excess of 7,000 lbs towing capacity. I can think of a coupe of "real" Porsche race cars that may very well end up getting hauled to the track by another Porsche in the near future. --DD |
Well the soccer moms have one more choice now

Best to leave the towing to domestic full size trucks, not suvs of any type, thats what they were built to do.

An idiot with a cell phone and an SUV is still a menace, even if it's a Porsche SUV, probably even more so, because of the performance factor.
Think we'll see any of these at a DE any time soon ;)? |
was --- "Driving in its purest form"
now --- pretty watered down and starting to get muddy Kelly |
Any new SUV is a bad news.
There are already too many of those over there with their bumpers right in front of your eyes, their lunatics drivers and that planet getting warmer every day. Sorry, dont take it personnaly. |
heh, I've known about this for about a year. The company I am working for is building the test stand to test the new transmission for it.
It is really cool on the inside, I don't think it looks much like an SUV when you see it in person. More like a station wagon. |
