914 2.0 possible part out
 

any ideas on how much a 1975 914 with a 2.0 liter engine is worth parted out. Im on the fence weather or not I am going to fix up or part out

How much you can get on the parts depends on how complete it is, what sorts of parts are on it, what condition the parts are in, how long you're willing to keep the shell around, how much work you're willing to do to remove/clean/sell the parts, etc. How much it costs to fix depends on how much work you do yourself versus paying someone else to do the work, what kind of work it needs, what standards the work will be done to, what sort of parts you're going to use, etc. And of course the selling price for a complete car depends on condition, condition, condition. And to some extent on location.

If you're looking purely at money, you almost always do better by parting out a 914 than fixing it and selling it. But it's a lot more fun to drive the car than it is to list its parts on evil-bay.
