Clutch disk 4 or 6 spring?

Am I correct in thinking that both the 4 and 6 spring clutch disks have the same pad thickness (about 0.388"), however the 6 spring allows more energy absorption.

Cheers,
Tom

basically - yes

the 6-spring is a "higher performance" piece with smoother engagement

I prefer a 6 puc Kennedy solid disk.

No performance difference in holding power between 4 and 6 spring.
