Question Removing dogteeth

I need to do some regearing in the transmission. Does the dog teeth press fit onto the gearsets? What is the best way to remove them and install them, preferably saving the the dogteeth if they are good. What are the tricks and pitfalls?

Make sure you give the dog some anethesia first.
