they may fit... he says they are custom(bolt spacing probably changed to accomodate) I would want him to put the bolt spacing in writing before I bid... 914s are 4-130mm (I think)
but I don't know about the value of these... I haven't heard of the brand, and I don't particuarly like them... unfortunately $750 for 16" rims is not uncommon, or even very high... I would stay away from them, unless you really like them!

Compmotive wheels are made in England and are considered to be good wheels. They support a lot of racing and make nice street wheels as well. Here is their site http://www.usacomp.com/

the other wheels on the site look VERY nice! and not too high either! I hadn't heard of them b4... the ones on ebay don't appeal to me but several of the others on the site look GOOD!

Compomotive are very high quality wheels. They are used a great deal by many of the WRC pro rally teams. My college roomate was a fairly high ranked SCCA Pro Rally driver and we had a pile of these wheels in our garage. Pretty light, very strong.
