1973 Monterey PCA Parade - long youtube video w/Ferry giving 914 concours awards

I just converted a 26 minute 8mm film of the 1973 Monterey Parade to a .mpg and uploaded it to YouTube...I thought you might enjoy it. At about the 16 minute mark there are several 914s, with their owners, receiving their Concours awards from Ferry Porsche himself at Pebble Beech. His wife Dolores is there too. You can mute the lame '60s surfer music.




It was given to me by the previous owner of my slate gray/red interior '66 911 (here's the back story and photos) and '65 911 #300278 that I recently sold. He also gave me the complete Monterey Parade guest kit with stickers, programs, tickets, etc. Some video highlights:

• 0:34 '65 911 #300278 makes an appearance
• 4:00 I think the movie switches to a different Parade...possibly 1977 in San Diego...you can see several impact bumper cars which I don't think were around that early in 1973. The previous owner of my cars said he attended and filmed both.
