Saw an ad in the paper today:

1984 Porsch 944
Bad head gasket, needs paint job
$700

What do you think?

Probably needs more work than that. By the time you replace the head gasket, throw on a decent paint job and fix various odds and ends, you could've bought a well-maintained 944. If you want a fun beater (with little care of body/paint condition), this *could* be a fun little project. On the plus side, parts for early (83-85) 944s are cheaper than parts from later 944s/Turbos.

Any non running 944 N/A won't sell for more than $1000.
