New kiddo into 914's
Hey everyone,
I have posted here a couple of times, but I have never formally introduced myself to you all. My name is Dustin Wayman and I am 17 years old. Recently I have bought a 1975 Porsche 914 1.8 out of Tucson Arizona and it is/was in great shape. My father was the reason I bought a Porsche 914, he raced SCCA formula cars for many years and I grew up always wanting to have a race car. Well, now I do. We have taken the amazing car and stripped it down and are currently turning it over into a GT-5/F-production race car. I have a job and I am making 100% of the money for the car and although tough, I am doing it. I come into the forum every day and I am learning so much so I thank you all for helping out even though I might not post a bunch. All of your help with my possible problems is already greatly appreciated! Thank you all, ~Dustin Wayman

Dustin, best of luck to you and your dad on your project. The best way to learn is by doing, and you'll have a blast in the process. There are a lot of kids out there that wish they had a dad like yours (and probably a few jealous dads too).
