Patrick Motorsports twin stainless mufflers

Anybody know anybody running these.

They look pretty neat!

They do look neat, but for the price I would need more info.
I notice there is no balance tube between the headers or mufflers..
No sense spending 450 bucks only to find that you lose power

I'm considering a new muffler set up on "ulf". Thus far, the Triad
jobbie is the front runner......it's not near as pretty, tho.

Hey JP I agree with you. Triad I think is the way to go. Especially for you being so close to them and all. I checked out their stuff. It is all very solidly built & custom too of course. They dyno out very well compared to bursch. I plan on getting on on my 2.0 before the summer is out. Hope to see you next sat in Beavercreek

I have seen a couple of Jim's cars in the HSR West Porsche vintage series use these and they go like stink! The cams, heads and headers may all be designed to work with these headers as a package? They are quiet and seem to have very low resistance? If anyone is close to the CA Speedway at Fontana next weekend Jim will be there as will several of his cars.

Frankly, I don't *know* if a balance pipe is needed. It is supposed to increase mid range power on *most* cars.

I haven't seen enough independent dyno testing to validate or disprove it..
I see and hear of lots of dyno stuff from folks trying to sell ya something. I take most of that with a grain of salt.

Otto could tell us, but he don't come here no mo.

FWIW most or all of the pure track -6's I've seen don't run cross/balance pipes. I know Otto doesn't; just straight headers into megaphones. But there's a big difference if you're trying to get some torque down at 2500-4500 RPM's vs. up in the 5-8K range. For a street car it's hard to beat a big can or two with a little bit of backpressure and a noise level the cops won't abandon their Starbucks & Krispy Kreme's over.
