BMW Caliper Machining for 914??
Can anyone tell me the machining process to configure a set of BMW front calipers to fit a 914? What year BMW's are suitable for this task? What year(s) of 914 do they work with?

|
Four piston calipers from the BMW 2002 are a direct fit for the early style 914 strut. The machining should be the same for the 2 piston and 4 piston BMW calipers. Check the archives for a post on this. I don't remember who completed the 4 piston conversion but there is a post the lists all the parts to complete the job. Someone should write a tec article on the 4 piston conversion.
