914?

Hi guys, If I'm not getting to personal i would like to take a survey on the 914s. I'd like to know what type of 914 your running? Example 914-4 built motor how much HP ,914-6,which motor and why.Thanks

I assume that you are familiar with the 914 and the various engines it came with during its production run. If not, check out Pelican's buyer's guide for 914 at http://www.pelicanparts.com/914/How_to_buy_a_914.htm

I have a stock '76 914-4 with the 2.0 liter engine. It is a non-catalytic model and is probably rated about 89 hp.

90 hp. I guess?

2) 1972 914/4 Bigbore kit on 1.7 (1913cc)
10.5:1 compression, ported, polished
dual 40mm Dellorto
050 dist., blue coil
H/D clutch
around ??? hp(builder says 120-130)

In regards to the 914-6,what i meant was If you did a 914-6 conversion which motor did you use and why?
